Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Dispatch, a mail and calendar client for macOS, iPhone and iPad published by BM Interactive Group ("we", "us"). By installing or using Dispatch you agree to them.

1. What Dispatch is

Dispatch lets you use your own Google account (Mail, Calendar, Drive, Tasks) and, optionally, your own Zoom account from a single app. It runs on your device and works out of a copy of your mail held there. We operate no mail server and keep no copy of your mailbox; the two narrow exceptions — the optional Assistant, and push notifications on iPhone and iPad — are described in the Privacy Policy.

2. The Assistant

The Assistant is optional and off until you turn it on. It runs on a Google Gemini API key that you create and that belongs to you: requests go from your device straight to Google under your key, any usage limits and charges on that key are between you and Google, and we neither see nor meter them.

The Assistant writes summaries and answers questions using a language model. Its output can be wrong or incomplete, so treat it as a starting point rather than a record. It never sends mail, deletes anything, or changes your calendar on its own — every action it proposes is carried out only after you confirm it.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Dispatch. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble Dispatch (except to the limited extent applicable law expressly permits), nor use the app or any of its code to build or assist a competing product.

4. Your accounts and your responsibility

• You need your own Google account — and, for meeting features, your own Zoom account. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, not ours.
• You are responsible for what you send, schedule, store, and share using Dispatch, and for keeping your device and accounts secure.
• You agree not to use Dispatch for unlawful purposes, including sending spam or violating others' privacy.

5. Third-party services

Dispatch depends on Google's and Zoom's APIs. We don't control those services; features may change or become unavailable if Google or Zoom change or withdraw their APIs. Google, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Gemini, and Zoom are trademarks of their respective owners; Dispatch is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Google or Zoom.

6. No warranty

Dispatch is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BM Interactive Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of Dispatch. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Termination

You can stop using Dispatch at any time by uninstalling it and revoking its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions and marketplace.zoom.us. We may terminate this license if you materially breach these terms.

9. Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and its effective date before the change applies. Continuing to use Dispatch after a change means you accept the updated terms.
